## Indications & Composition


* **Indications:** Treatment of vitamin B deficiencies and associated neurological conditions, including polyneuropathy (diabetic, alcoholic, toxic), neuritis, neuralgia, cervical syndrome, shoulder-arm syndrome, lumbago, sciatica, myalgia, intercostal neuralgia, herpes zoster, trigeminal neuralgia, and supportive treatment in facial paresis.

* **Composition:**

* *Tablet:* Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate) **100 mg**, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) **200 mg**, Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) **200 mcg**.

* *Injection (3 ml ampoule):* Thiamine HCl **100 mg**, Pyridoxine HCl **100 mg**, Cyanocobalamin **1000 mcg**.




## Pharmacology & Mechanism


* **Vitamin B1 (Thiamine):** Converts nutrients to energy, promotes healthy nerve function, supports mood, and strengthens the heart. Excreted via urine.

* **Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine):** Forms red blood cells (RBCs), aids protein synthesis, manufactures neurotransmitters (e.g., serotonin), helps prevent cardiovascular disease/stroke, and eases depression/insomnia. Stored in the liver and excreted as metabolites.

* **Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin):** Essential for cell replication, RBC production, anemia prevention, reducing nerve pain/numbness, and lowering heart disease risk.


## Dosage & Administration


* **Tablets:** **1 to 3 tablets per day**, or as advised by a physician.

* **Injections:**

* *Severe/Acute Cases:* **1 injection daily** until acute symptoms subside.

* *Mild Cases:* **1 injection 2 to 3 times per week** (preferably administered intramuscularly).



* **Pediatric Use:** No information is available regarding use in children.


## Contraindications, Interactions & Warnings


* **Contraindications:** Hypersensitivity to any ingredients and patients on **levodopa therapy**.

* **Drug Interactions:** No drug interactions have been reported yet.

* **Precautions & Warnings:**

* Cyanocobalamin should not be given to patients with subacute degeneration of the spinal cord or certain optic neuropathies.

* Due to the presence of **benzyl alcohol**, the **injection form is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation** (though the oral tablet form is permitted).




## Side Effects, Overdose & Storage


* **Side Effects:** Generally well tolerated, though allergic reactions may occur in rare cases.

* **Overdose Effects:** No overdosage symptoms are expected at recommended doses; treatment for known overdose is symptomatic and supportive.

* **Storage Conditions:** Store in a cool (below **25°C**), dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
